March 19, 2009

We just wanted to share a couple of miracles that we have had the past couple of days. Mom's oxygen continues improve and there are periods of time when she takes off her mask. Her strength also seems to be improving slightly. The last few nights she has been able to sleep about 5-6 hours, which is about 5 times as much has she has been sleeping. Dad has made made mom's comfort his number one priority and bought her a new lazy boy chair along with a big screen TV. Cute, funny dad. We are so grateful for these small miracles that have brought us much hope.

  1. Norene,
So glad that your oxygen levels are better and that you can take off your mask once and a while. That's wonderful that you are sleeping better, because you'll gain more stength. How cool that you got a big screen TV. Wow! Just what you need to keep you from getting bored. We too are grateful for the small miracles that you have experienced. We love you!!!!!! 7. Norene and family,
We wanted you to know our thoughts and prayers are with you. It is a painful thing to think about as Lynn's mom had lung cancer and had to be on oxygen as well. We saw from her how difficult this was and we prayer for you to have strength to endure each day. You do have to enjoy the small miracles and keep the big picture in mind. We love you all. Love, Lynn and Lisa (Shields) Remund and family.
